BangRak Beach & Big Buddha Temple, Koh Samui, Thailand - Gorgeous! This short video features one of Koh Samui's many beautiful beaches: BangRak Beach, and some footage from the Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) which is at the eastern end of the beach. BangRak Beach is quiet and relaxing, with quite a few little beach restaurants, a couple of beach clubs, some bungalow operators and private houses lining the beach. BangRak is where you can also catch a speed boat or a ferry to the neighboring island of Koh Pha Ngan and other destinations. The airport is only a few kilometers away so you will get a few close-ups of airplanes landing.. Beyond that it is a peaceful, relaxing beach. As with other Koh Samui beaches, the sand is fine and white, and the water turquoise and warm. The beach is sheltered and shallow so it's great for kids too. Tropical perfection! Koh Samui is a large tropical island in Thailand with many beautiful beaches and sights.I have captured some footage on BangRak Beach and the Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai).
